In Canada, the CAIB 4 exam is one of two exam you have to pass in order to get your Level 3 General Insurance License and one of the exams you need for the CAIB designation.
This license is an important next step in your career advancement because it enables you to take on additional responsibilities within your brokerage. With a Level 3 license, you are also able to manage a brokerage or start your own as a nominee or principal broker.
To reflect this, the course focuses mostly on business and brokerage management skills rather than technical insurance concepts.
