In Ontario, you need to study both CAIB 2 & 3 to prepare for the RIBO 2 Unrestricted Technical exam and get your Level 2 General Insurance License. This license is important for your career advancement because it enables you to take on additional responsibilities within your brokerage or even become self-employed working as an independent producer and practicing insurance outside of the office.
If you’ve already taken the RIBO 1 exam, then you should already be familiar with the feel of the exam. But the format is a little different this time around:
- 20 Multiple Choice Questions about Insurance Concepts, Principles & Practices
- Case Study Questions in a short answer style worth 60 marks. The style of questions here are very similar to the case study questions from RIBO 1
- Forms Recognition Questions in a short answer style worth 20 marks.
The tricky part is that you need to score at least 60% on each of these sections to pass the exam.
Who needs these RIBO 2 Practice Questions?
I’m sure you’ve all heard this saying before: practice makes perfect; and it can’t be more true when it comes to studying for this exam.
