After you’ve been working in the insurance industry for a while and spent some time as a Level 2 licensee, it’s time for you to take the next step in your career. If you want to manage or start your own brokerage, you’ll need to get what’s called a Level 3 license. To do that in almost all Canadian provinces (aside from Ontario, Alberta & Quebec), you need to pass the CAIB 4 exam.

CAIB 4 CLASS CONTENT:
The course delivers an in-depth dive into the different skills/topics needed to manage or run your own insurance brokerage. Topics include: planning, organization, HR, leadership, sales & marketing, insurer/client relationships, financial management, brokerage technologies, and monitoring & oversight.
INSTRUCTOR:
Jacques has worked in education since 2009 and has been in the insurance industry since 2013. In 2015, he won an Insurance Council award for academic excellence after scoring 97% in his CAIB* 3 exam (the highest mark in the province that year). He brings his educational background and ability to simplify complex ideas to students through these online courses.
Outside of his day job as a insurance broker, he lends his industry expertise to readers by writing for Insuranceopedia (a Canadian insurance publication based in Alberta) and Trusted Union.
