For new brokers, the material you learn in your licensing course is just the beginning. This ICBC Autoplan course (accredited for 1 CE hour in BC) provides in-depth insurance training on Autoplan coverages, exclusions, and how it all works here in British Columbia. If you are new to the industry and working in Autoplan, you need to know these things.

ICBC Autoplan Course Content

In this course, we cover:

  • 3rd Party Liability
  • Accident Benefits

  • Requirements of the insured & ICBC

These materials are a key part of our BC Level 1 Insurance Licensing course and is tailored for beginners. The goal is to prepare brokers for real world scenarios working with clients answering questions they might have around Autoplan and the new changes in 2020.

Sample Questions:

c) She can file a dispute with the insurance regulator in BC

d) There is nothing she can do

Your client Sarah has her son listed on her auto policy. Next week, he will be moving out to attend university in another province so she wants to remove him from the policy. What do you tell her?

a) *Drivers can be added or removed from your policy anytime and the premium will be adjusted accordingly

b) Drivers can be removed anytime but your premium will not be adjusted until renewal

c) You can remove drivers anytime but they can only be added on renewal

d) Any changes to the list of drivers can only be done upon policy renewal

Like our licensing and CE courses, we use an interactive multimedia format with our ICBC course. The ICBC Autoplan course also includes quizzes and a final exam to help you assess your knowledge and is valid for 1 CE hour for BC.
