When we first released the RIBO accredited CE courses, we got a lot of feedback from students and brokerages. Many people loved the courses for their convenience, content, and value for money. But one piece of feedback was about adding more RIBO accredited ethics courses to the CE course subscription. We heard you.
In response to this feedback, we now have 2 RIBO ethics courses. Aside from the IC75 Code of Ethics/Conduct course originally released, we now have a course on the Ethics of Selling approved by RIBO.
In the RIBO accredited Code of Ethics/Conduct course, you will learn about broker ethics and the various codes of conduct in each province. The course covers a variety of topics necessary for brokers to avoid a breach such as integrity, competence, privacy, handling conflicts of interest, fee disclosures, etc.
In our new course – IC84 Ethics of Selling – you will learn how to be ethical and profitable in your sales tactics and relationship building efforts with clients.
Maintaining an ethical sales process will not decrease your sales or production numbers. In fact, it will help you fortify your client relationships and lead to more referrals in the long run.
The RIBO ethics course “IC84 Ethics of Selling” is due to be released October, 2019.
In case you didn’t know, RIBO says you cannot use the same RIBO ethics course for credits more than once within a 3 year time period. That means you cannot take the same ethics course again until 3 years later. That’s why in total, we plan on releasing 4 RIBO ethics courses as part of the continuing education course subscription so students can take a different ethics course for each of those 3 years without repeating any.
If you need to get CE credits or have something in particular you want to learn in order to become a more effective broker, check out our accredited CE courses catalog. If you have questions about how the courses work, send us a message.
